Those Supporting Us to Achieve Our Goal
Our Partners
#TakeTwentyToZero
Operation: Heal our Heroes (HOH) has established meaningful relationships with two well-known veterans’ service organizations.
These relationships were specially chosen due to their alignment in mission and services rendered with that of the HOH charter:
The Headstrong Project
The Headstrong Project is another VSO that has received the support of HOH as a result of its comprehensive rehabilitation program which has been designed with the direction of some of the country’s leading mental health care professionals at Weil Cornell Medical Center in New York City. To this day, the Headstrong Project has not lost a single veteran to suicide who has checked into their program. Results like this support the HOH goal of bringing the 20 veterans we’re losing, each day, to zero. HOH has established two relationships with other veterans’ service organizations. These relationships were specially chosen due to their alignment in mission and services rendered with that of the HOH charter.
Give an Hour
Founded by Dr. Barbara van Dahlen, Give an Hour has dedicated over 10 years to harnessing the expertise and generosity of volunteer mental healthcare professionals to provide complimentary mental healthcare services to veterans and their loved ones. Furthermore, Give an Hour has had success in bringing attention at the congressional level to the struggles with mental health that many veterans face, and was influential in the passage of the Clay-Manhunt Act. These two ideals fall very much in line with the HOH Charter.
